These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the Eezi Hire website, mobile applications, services, products, listings, digital content and any related services operated by Entity Deep (Pty) Ltd (“the Company”, “Eezi Hire”, “we”, “our” or “us”).
By accessing or using this platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must discontinue using the platform immediately.
2. About Eezi Hire
Eezi Hire is an online marketplace that enables independent businesses and professionals to advertise:
- Professional Services
- Home Services
- Business Services
- Equipment Hire
- Event Hire
- Plant Hire
- Vehicle Hire
- Construction Services
- Skilled Trades
- Professional Consultants
- Creative Professionals
- Digital Service Providers
Eezi Hire does not employ, supervise, endorse, certify or manage any service provider listed on the platform.
3. Marketplace Status
Eezi Hire is not:
- a contractor;
- an employment agency;
- a recruitment company;
- an insurer;
- a payment intermediary;
- a booking agent;
- a guarantor;
- a service provider.
The platform exists solely to connect customers with independent businesses.
4. Independent Businesses
Every listing published on Eezi Hire belongs to an independent business.
Each provider is solely responsible for:
- pricing;
- quotations;
- invoicing;
- taxes;
- licences;
- permits;
- insurance;
- workmanship;
- customer service;
- warranties;
- refunds;
- cancellations;
- legal compliance.
Entity Deep (Pty) Ltd accepts no responsibility whatsoever for these matters.
5. No Endorsement
Publication of a listing does not mean Eezi Hire endorses, recommends, certifies or guarantees that business.
Any verification badges displayed relate only to information submitted to Eezi Hire and do not constitute a guarantee of competence, legality or quality.
6. User Eligibility
You must:
- be at least 18 years old;
- possess legal capacity;
- provide accurate information;
- comply with South African law.
Businesses must operate lawfully within the Republic of South Africa.
7. Business Listings
Businesses may only advertise services they are legally permitted to provide.
Listings must not include:
- false claims;
- misleading pricing;
- fake reviews;
- copied photographs;
- copyrighted material;
- discriminatory language;
- illegal products;
- prohibited services.
Eezi Hire reserves the right to remove any listing without prior notice.
8. Listing Fees
Listing fees are payable annually.
Current pricing may include:
Starter Listing
R299 per annum
Professional Listing
Premium Listing
Enterprise Listing
Prices may change without notice.
Existing paid listings remain valid until expiry.
9. Payments
Payments are processed using secure third-party payment providers.
Eezi Hire does not store banking or payment card information.
10. No Refund Policy
Unless otherwise required by law, listing fees are non-refundable.
Refunds will not be granted because:
- the listing generated fewer enquiries than expected;
- the business closed;
- the owner changed their mind;
- customers did not respond;
- competitors joined the platform.
11. Customer Responsibilities
Customers must perform their own due diligence before hiring any business.
Customers should:
- verify qualifications;
- obtain written quotations;
- inspect previous work;
- request references;
- confirm pricing;
- verify insurance where appropriate.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, Entity Deep (Pty) Ltd shall not be liable for:
- defective workmanship;
- injuries;
- death;
- property damage;
- fraud;
- theft;
- negligence;
- missed appointments;
- contractual disputes;
- financial loss;
- indirect damages;
- consequential damages.
All engagements occur entirely between customers and independent businesses.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Entity Deep (Pty) Ltd, its directors, shareholders, employees, contractors and affiliates against any claims, damages, legal costs, losses or expenses arising from:
- your use of the platform;
- your business listing;
- customer disputes;
- copyright infringement;
- unlawful conduct;
- negligence.
14. Intellectual Property
All branding including:
- Eezi Hire
- logos
- website design
- software
- databases
- graphics
- articles
- content
- source code
remain the exclusive property of Entity Deep (Pty) Ltd unless otherwise stated.
No content may be copied without written permission.
15. User Generated Content
Businesses retain ownership of submitted content.
However, by uploading content you grant Eezi Hire a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, market and promote that content in connection with the platform.
16. Reviews
Reviews must be:
- truthful;
- based upon genuine experiences;
- free from defamatory remarks;
- free from hate speech.
Eezi Hire may remove reviews at its sole discretion.
17. Advertisements
Third-party advertising, including Google AdSense advertisements, may appear throughout the platform.
Eezi Hire does not endorse products advertised by advertisers.
18. Third-Party Links
The platform contains links to external websites.
Entity Deep (Pty) Ltd accepts no responsibility for external websites or their content.
19. Website Availability
Although we strive for uninterrupted service, Eezi Hire does not guarantee continuous availability.
Scheduled maintenance, upgrades or unforeseen events may temporarily interrupt service.
20. Suspension and Termination
Eezi Hire reserves the right to suspend or permanently remove any account or listing for breaches of these Terms without compensation.
21. Force Majeure
Entity Deep (Pty) Ltd shall not be liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control including:
- natural disasters;
- pandemics;
- strikes;
- cyber attacks;
- war;
- civil unrest;
- electricity interruptions;
- telecommunications failures.
22. Privacy
Your personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
23. Electronic Communications
By using Eezi Hire you consent to receiving electronic communications including invoices, notices, newsletters and updates.
24. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed exclusively by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
25. Dispute Resolution
Parties should first attempt to resolve disputes amicably.
Where resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be referred to mediation before litigation where appropriate.
26. Severability
Should any clause be declared invalid, all remaining clauses shall remain fully enforceable.
27. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the complete agreement between users and Entity Deep (Pty) Ltd regarding use of the platform.
